Superheart described their sound as “dreamy underwater anti-gravity flying music”, and listening to the ethereal ‘Talk About It’, it’s impossible to disagree. The British duo have released a series of songs of the same ilk in the past year, each time delivering a soothing listen of dreamy instrumentation and indie-pop songwriting. There’s a swaying side-to-side feeling to ‘Talk About It’, one that gently rocks you with consistent rhythms, reverb flourishes and layered vocals that emanate simple-yet-profound lyrics. Our personal favourite - “Cut by the strings and let’s see what good this love brings” - sums up the open-hearted and hopeful nature of Superheart’s new song. - Hannah Thacker
